Some time ago, together with the headmaster and the staff of the primary school in Ruli/Rwanda, we thought about a painting project – some of the walls of the school were to be decorated with pictures illustrating certain values to the children.
For example, various foods are shown on the wall near the kitchen. On another wall, the children were taught about hygiene and how to use water economically.
A large tree in the entrance area of the school shows the values of transparency, love, teamwork, peace and success.
The ideas for the pictures came from Ruli and we provided the necessary funds for preparing the walls and the paint.
We are delighted that we were able to plan and support this great project together with the headmaster of the primary school and that the children had so much fun painting!
